In Matthew 28:19 Jesus commanded us to go tell the world about the good news of salvation by grace.

In Acts 1:8 he also told us that we are first responsible for our own backyard, the city and our province.  Our individual and corporate relationship with our community is first and foremost in our thoughts.  As a congregation we want to do everything we can to be the face, arms, legs and hands of Jesus to our own community.

In that same passage of scripture, Jesus told us that we were to also be prepared to show His love to the whole world and so we also believe that it is important to financially support missionaries that are "called" to other countries to share the love of God and that Jesus is "The way the truth and the life."

In 3 John:6-8, the appostle John was inspired by the Holy Spirit to communicate to us the importance of supporting missionaries. The family at Bradford Community Church takes that responsibility seriously. By financially supporting and joining hands with missionaries, we believe that we are fulfilling what the modern day church calls "the Great Commission" to GO into all the world.

Here are our missionaries and Missions Organizations.  We hope you will take some time to get to know them.

The Armitage's, 2016.

Hi, we are Sheldon, Anna, Mia and Livia Armitage. Since 2002, we have been living and working in Europe. During that time we have been involved in training thousands of leaders and church planters as well as helping to plant a church in Nitra, Slovakia. Our desire has been to see the Body of Christ reach its potential in Europe, a continent desperate for a new move of God. Having lived in both England and now Slovakia, we can better understand the challenges facing Europe and through our work with the PAOC, we are positioning ourselves to be part of the solution for Europe.

Starting in 2011 we will be refocusing our efforts more on the external issues facing Slovakia and Europe in order to  see the Kingdom of God revealed. Some of these issues include community action, bringing Kingdom values to the private and public sector and helping to fight human trafficking.
