Welcome to December!
Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to say welcome to December.
It is a significant time of year because most people are just going crazy. We are constantly bombarded by things we need to buy for others and things we want to get for ourselves. We go to the mall and endure the crowds of people all doing the same thing, trying to find the right thing to buy for the right person for the cheapest pricewe can find it. It's a lot of pressure.
Long car rides, lack of sleep, exhaustion, cleaning up all the wrapping paper, taking back the clothes that don't fit, Christmas is hardly a holiday for most.
As followers of Jesus, we choose Christmas to represent the birth of Christ, the gift of God to the earth, the saviour of the world. There are many amazing truths about Christ's birth in the Bible. Why not take a moment to reflect on Jesus Christ.
I know, I know. It's hard to fit it all in.
Before you open the gifts, before you eat all of the food, before you go rushing off to the next family celebration; let us remember the gift we have been given. We have been given the gift of knowing Jesus Christ as the savior of our life, the gift of living a life with purpose, the gift of eternal happiness.
I know that this is what a Pastor is supposed to say at Christmas. Ah well, I need to remind myself too. Jesus Christ loves you and died for you and rose again so that we can live. What a gift! The best gift of all! Jesus!
Blessings,

Church Parking Lot
Our recent congregational meeting on June 1st was about the issue of paving our parking lot. Over the years there has been a growing concern for the safety and easy access of our visitors to our church. As a leadership team we felt it was time to address this concern.
Our Church has decided to begin fundraising to pave our church parking lot. The cost of which is $40000 we will be posting fundraising events in the very near future. This is a huge undertaking and we need all of your support to accomplish this task. Please keep our church in prayer as we embrace this project together in order to fulfill our vision.
Thanks,
Pastors Shane and Becky Fitch
