I am sitting here on Sunday evening after the children go to bed reflecting upon the day. It was great to be with my church family Bradford Community Church. Today I spoke the first sermon I ever preached in Bradford. I have been pastoring in Bradford for about 5 and half years now and it is amazing to see God at work. Of course before I spoke the message, I wondered if anyone would actually remember the message. It was the message I preached before the church voted on choosing me as their Pastor.

I guess the rest is history since we are still here more than five years later. I guess I wanted to say thanks to my church for allowing us to share our lives, dreams and family with you. It is truly a blessing to actually like the people you are called to minister to. Apparently that is not always the case. Many times in our lives we wait until someone is leaving to say thank you but as sincere as you can be in that moment wouldn’t the thanks have been much more appreciated when it was not expected? I think so. On a day like sept 11th we realize how life can change in a moment.

You should say thank you to those are due thanks. Walking in thanksgiving is Godly quality. Maybe there are those around you who have no idea that you appreciate them or value them. You could show them that their life has significance in a unique way by finding a way to say thank you. For those who go to my church I am not looking for a pat on the back. I’m not really comfortable people touching my back :) . I just wanted to say thanks for our friendship. I am hoping for many more years together. Mark this date down, March 11, 2016, because you may hear the sermon I preached today again because apparently I preach it every five and a half years.

That’s enough bloggin for now
